Democracy Headaches

Residents of Beit Shemesh hold banners and chant slogans as they protest against what they claim was electoral fraud, following the victory of the ultra-Orthodox candidate and current mayor Moshe Abutbul (not pictured) in the mayoral election, during a demonstration held in front of the municipality building in the city of Beit Shemesh, Israel, on October 29, 2013. Thousands of protesters were demanding a new vote in the mayoral election and even suggesting the city be split in two claiming the election was stolen.
