A couple of months ago I wrote a post about an assignment I shot for The Washington Post in Tel Aviv saying/asking "what more can one ask for while on assignment?"
Well, apparently there's always room for improvement...
This week I got to spend a wonderful afternoon on the beach in Tel Aviv, shooting for a story about beach life in the city, one year after the Israel-Gaza conflict. Perhaps the only disadvantage of assignments like this one in Israel is that they almost always seem to relate to a bad collective experiences like wars or conflicts.
I have to say that the idea of a beach office seems very appealing to me now.
